Feb 25: MARDIS GRAS Feat: The Pile The Fainting Goat, centrally located at the south end of Regina's Cathedral area, offers something different: locally sourced meat, veggies, herbs and grains, brought to life by the exotic palettes of the Mediterranean, Middle East, and North Africa. Our comfortable, licensed dining room has a drink menu as enticing as our food, and the friendly neighbourhood spot is constantly brightened by live music and local art. Opened in the fall of 2009, the Fainting Goat is a family-operated restaurant. Everyone on board is passionate about food and buying local; as such the menu features meats from Italian Star Deli, Pine View Farms, and Quill Creek Bison, vegetables from the Green Ranch and Heliotrope Organics, and other ingredients from Norquin Quinoa and Zeebee Honey among others. |
